There are not many countries and regions that offer such a high density of different animal species and great landscapes as the Cape region in Southern Africa!
In South Africa, we do not offer weekly packages like in other destinations. However, as we ourselves are partly based in the Cape Town region, we naturally want to bring you closer to our local wildlife.
Feel free to contact us for 1, 2 or multi-day tours to experience different animal species.
We will be happy to pick you up at your hotel and bring you back to your destination. For multi-day tours, we stay in beautiful accommodation and of course take care of your meals.
We use comfortable cars for transportation.Let us know what you are interested in and we will be happy to put together a programme for you.

The region around Cape Town is very well known for its marine fauna, but also impresses with its wildlife on land!
Various species of whales can be found off the coasts of the Cape region. Southern right whales come in their thousands to within a few meters of the coast between July and November to mate and give birth to their calves. Humpback whales also come to the region in their hundreds and can often be observed directly from the coast. Large Bryde's whales patrol the coast all year round and are joined by various species of dolphin.
In some places along the coast there is another highlight: colonies of penguins! These amazing animals are often unafraid of humans and make for great photo opportunities!
The coasts are also patrolled by various sharks such as the great white and bronze whaler shark. There are various places where you can see the animals from land or with a drone. There are also options to experience sharks from boats or even in the water!
But we can also find wild animals on land. Baboons are common and we often find them along the roads. Towards the Cape of Good Hope we find large eland antelopes, mountain zebras, ostriches and much more. Spotted eagle owls are also common in the Cape region, among many other kinds of birds.Let us know what you are interested in and we will be happy to put together a programme for you.

On multi-day tours, we stay in beautiful local accommodation and enjoy the local cuisine.
On day tours, we also organize different meals and stop off at typical restaurants.

Especially for tours with longer distances, it is advisable to start early! We will therefore pick you up from your accommodation early in the morning to increase our chances of great animal encounters.
Depending on how good you are on foot, we will set off on easier or more strenuous hikes and boats to explore the South African wilderness.
We usually arrive back at your accommodation in the late afternoon. -
The climate in the Cape region in spring is generally very pleasant. However, it can also get cooler, so a jacket and good shoes are recommended. This is especially true for longer hikes.
For photographers, we recommend medium - larger lenses (300 mm+), as the animals are often shy, depending on the species.
